Fishing permit for fishing from the shore at the southern launching site and from Kyrkekvarn 2.5 km northward up to the first portage at Öjaforsen. Beyond that point, fishing is prohibited. Valid fishing permit is required for fishing within the area. The fishing permit is personal and non-transferable. General rules: The fishing permit entitles the holder to fish only with handheld equipment, including angling (bait fishing), ice fishing, spinning rod, fly rod, and trolling/spinner fishing. Children and youths under the age of 15 do not require a fishing permit. Organized groups must obtain a group permit. Fishing is not allowed in tributary streams. The fishing permit must be carried during fishing and must be presented upon request to a supervisor or inspector. In addition to the general regulations, the following restrictions apply: Trout: minimum size 50 cm. Trout are protected from October 1st to January 31st. Pike: minimum size 50 cm. Pike longer than 90 cm or shorter than 50 cm must be released back into the water, regardless of any injuries.
